Dr. Kelsey will examine using acupressure and meridian points to determine any internal disruption as well. This roller table massages the spine to provide blood, water, and nutrients to the discs, tendons, ligaments, and muscles of the spine. Sessions are 12-30 minutes in length at $1/1min and when coupled with an adjustment ($50 total). Can be used with ice or heat as well. This service does not require examination prior to use.

Trigger point myotherapy also known as neuromuscular therapy or sometimes deep tissue massage therapy consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure on the areas of muscle spasm. Pressure is applied with the fingers, knuckles, and/or elbow in ten to thirty second intervals to effectively alleviate the muscle spasm. Neuromuscular therapy works by relaxing the muscle in order to release stored lactic acid and encourage blood and oxygen circulation to the muscle to avoid the production of more lactic acid. The therapeutic pressure and massage typically produces initial soreness, but towards the end of treatment relief is felt in the associated muscles tissue.

Bodywork includes specific trigger point therapy if needed and/or stretching. This technique is different from massage in that we focus on specific muscle groups that are examined and found to be causing dysfunction within range of motion or internal processes. Circulation is increased while isolated muscle fascia is worked on to reduce adhesion's and prevent scar tissue formation. This is a specific soft tissue treatment and highly recommended as a part of general wellness program.
Most commonly used, for stiffness, soreness, detoxing, decreased range motion, poor biomechanics(posture), muscle spasm, and arthritis. Equine, Bovine, and Canine patients.
