She completed her first Bachelor's Degree of Science in Health Sciences in May 2010. She was on the fast track for vet school when a personal experience turned her towards Chiropractic. She then applied to Parker University and obtained two more BA Degrees in Anatomy and Health and Wellness, along with her Doctorate of Chiropractic. In 2016-2017 Dr. Kelsey also completed her training as a Certified Acupuncturist recognizing the need for it in the area. She is now one of the few practicing Acupuncturists in the Arklahoma Area. She currently practices utilizing alternative methods of healing and rehabilitation in Van Buren, AR for humans and animals.
Dr. Kelsey's equine and animal experience includes five years under Dr. Anna Katherine Hayes at multiple racehorse training facilities and tracks and three years under Bryan County Animal Hospital with multiple veterinarians. She also graduated top of her American Veterinary Chiropractic Association courses class at Parker Univeristy and completed the program while finishing her Doctorates of Chiropractic in the fall of 2013. She is AVCA Qualified. Post-Graduation she spent 2 years in a human high volume family practice, while maintaining her mobile animal practice in the evenings and on the weekends. Dr. Kelsey has since maintained a successful wellness practice for humans and animals from 2013 that includes alternative, non-invasive treatments and preventative care. She continues to collaborate with numerous veterinarians and medical doctors to enhance treatment protocols and to integrate wellness techniques for her community.
Dr. Kelsey wants to help you achieve your wellness goals by using basic principles of chiropractic philosophy and eastern medicine. Her treatments include therapy and manipulation of the human and animal body to establish a functional connection of the brain to the body and activating your natural ability to heal. She also wants to use the treatment process to educate her patients and clients on the opportunities that alternative medicine has to offer in creating a pain free and healthy lifestyle.
