Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a therapist puts special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction, thus allowing new, fresh blood of the body to encounter tissues of the affected area and the removal of stagnant blood.. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.

Massage Therapy $45-$110

Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person's health and well-being.  Therapeutic massage is a general term that describes any type of massage modality that helps relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem—such as a frozen shoulder or headaches. People tend to assume therapeutic massage means deep-tissue massage, and that they will get a very strong massage. Multiple techniques can be used to achieve pain relief and/or relaxtion, such as hot stones, cupping, stretching, and hot towels.

Melissa Patterson LMT is our in-house massage therapist. Her years of experience and knowledge in cervical trauma, headaches. back pain, and rehabiltation makes her a perfect fit for Flatrock Chiropractic and it's patients. She can help determine what your needs are for your massage

Human Trigger Point Therapy $35-$65

Trigger point myotherapy also known as neuromuscular therapy or sometimes deep tissue massage therapy consists of alternating levels of concentrated pressure on the areas of muscle spasm. Pressure is applied with the fingers, knuckles, and/or elbow in ten to thirty second intervals to effectively alleviate the muscle spasm. Neuromuscular therapy works by relaxing the muscle in order to release stored lactic acid and encourage blood and oxygen circulation to the muscle to avoid the production of more lactic acid. The therapeutic pressure and massage typically produces initial soreness, but towards the end of treatment relief is felt in the associated muscles tissue.

Human Magnawave Therapy $35

Magnawaving is a safe non-invasive alternative to conventional medicine that is natural, has no risks or side effects, and works very fast and very well. Magna Wave PEMF works by improving cellular function and health at the molecular level. The process enhances the body’s ability to heal itself and relieve pain quickly and naturally. Decrease pain and inflammation while promoting circulation and oxygenation to injured/inflammed soft tissue.
